About Alabama BCIF
As an Alabama cattle producer and member of Alabama BCIA, you are aware of the important role your organization plays in the Alabama beef industry. To move our organization and industry forward into the future, the Alabama Beef Cattle Improvement Foundation (BCIF) was formed with an initial donation. The Alabama BCIF is a non-profit charitable foundation that can provide a vehicle for individuals to make tax deductible contributions to support performance educational programs, research and activities. Donations, honorariums, memorials or donations of proceeds from animals sold are various avenues to contribute. A contribution form to submit a donation is available below.
The Alabama BCIF Mission
The mission of the Alabama BCIF is to educate and facilitate the utilization of performance principles for the cattle industry. The Alabama BCIF is committed to improving the quality of the beef cattle industry, through the use of science-based research and technology, and to also promote and contribute to the economic development, growth and betterment of Alabama's cattle industry.
Alabama BCIF Undergraduate Scholarship and Graduate Fellowship Applications
Alabama BCIF annually issues a call for interested undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an agricultural college within a land-grant university to apply for undergraduate scholarships and graduate fellowships. Scholarship and fellowship funds are based on the quality of applicants and available funds. Applications can be downloaded below.
